Susan M. Tucker

Susan Marie (Strzelecki) Tucker, age 72, of South Toledo, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio with her son and daughter at her side. Susan was born May 15, 1949, to Chester and Helen Strzelecki. She graduated from Whitney High School and remained in Toledo raising a family and working in accounting. She retired this past spring after many happy years of employment with S.A. Storer & Sons Company. Susan attended Saints Adalbert and Hedwig Parish. She loved Polish traditions and liked to pass those traditions along to her family and friends. Susan loved traveling, attending sporting events and was an avid gardener. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate a special event with her friends and family. Susan is survived by her children, Laura Vollor and William (Anna) Tucker. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Tucker Vollor, Casey and Aiden Tucker. Also surviving are her sisters, Patricia Szul and Barbara Lewandowski. The family celebrated Susan’s life at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass Friday, October 15, 2021. William and Laura would like to thank friends and family for their endless support while being at their mother’s side during her fight against cancer, ensuring she was never alone. They would also like to thank the staff at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care and compassion, with special thanks to Jennifer, Erica, Mandy, and many others.
