Steven C. Rothlisberger

Steven C. Rothlisberger passed away at age 38 on May 4th 2023 in Toledo, OH. Steven was born in Toledo on April 3, 1985 to his loving parents, Steve and Mary (Siwajek) Rothlisberger.

Steven was a graduate of Roy C. Start high school. He graduated from Davis College and Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Sports Management. You could always find Steven with a smile on his face and a basketball in his hand. He coached youth basketball for various organizations in the Toledo area for most of his adult life. Most recently he was coaching 5th and 6th graders at the Athlete Headquarters. Steven’s mission was to help them achieve their goals and to hopefully one day see them play in the NBA. He was currently employed at Howard, Nicholas, and Baburek DDS and loved his position and coworkers. Steven attended St. Catherine of Siena grade school and had many lifelong friends that he met there. Everyone who knew him will remember him for his loving and kind nature and how much he enjoyed making people laugh.

Steven is survived by his parents, Steve and Mary; his wife, Emily; brother, Andrew (Whitney) Rothlisberger; his niece, Madelyn Newman and nephews, Andrew Jr. and Felix Rothlisberger. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Daniel and Mary Siwajek, John and Alice Masney; his uncle, Charles Rothlisberger; and sister, Danielle Syroka.

A memorial gathering in his honor will take place this summer to be announced at a later date.
