Stanley B. Stan Doremus

Stanley B. Doremus, “Stan,” died unexpectedly at home on October 9, 2018, at the age of 60. Stan was born on January 2, in Toledo, Ohio to William C. and Barbara J. Doremus. Stanley is survived by his wife, Laura G. Holtzman-Doremus; younger sister, Sherrien B. Doremus-Clark; and his brother, Steven B. Doremus, all residing in Toledo, Ohio. Stanley is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara J. Doremus; father, William C. Doremus; and oldest brother, Scott B. Doremus. Stanley graduated with a G.E.D. while living in San Antonio, Texas, and after moving back home to Toledo, Ohio he went back to college to receive his Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology from Owens Community College, graduating in 1987. After several years in the medical industry, Stanley again went back to school and attending the University of Toledo, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, graduating in 2000. Stan and his wife bought their first house in 1997, and have lived there happy for many years. Stan fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a bee keeper in 2016, and was a member of the Maumee Valley Bee Keepers Association. Stan was also an avid fisherman, and liked to go fishing any chance that he got. No funeral service is scheduled at this time. A memorial luncheon in his honor will be scheduled at a later date.
