Shozo Sho Tomita

Shozo (Sho) Tomita 82, died on March 17, 2012 at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. Born in Handford, Ca., he was the third youngest of 8 children. He served three years in the army during the Korean Conflict. Worked many years for Big Georges, as a TV Technician and small appliance repairman. He was preceded in death by one daughter (Angela Kirklan). Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Willadean (Dee), and four children, Shery Ashbrook, Lynda (Dan) Peake, Wayne (Jennifer) Tomita and Donna (Greg) Galliher. He was grandfather to 7, great grandfather to 10 and one great, great grandson.We wish to acknowledge the excellent care and concern of the medical teams at the VA hospital during his 8 week illness. God bless each and everyone that tried to prolong his life. We are grateful to you all for the time we did have with him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering to be announced at a later date. A private family burial will take place at the National Cemetery in Holly, MI. also at a later date.
