Shirley L. Eggert

Shirley L. Eggert, 81, of Toledo, formerly of Curtis, MI, passed away September 28, 2013 at The Lakes of Monclova. She was born September 26, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Harold and Ruth (Light) Behm. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and a sister, Joanne Behm. She is survived by her son, Gary; daughter, Deb Scott; grandsons, Nick (Lindsey) and Aaron Scott; great-granddaughter, Delaney; sister, Carol (Jay) Hites; and her special grand-dog, Rocket.Shirleys family wishes to thank all of her caregivers at Toledo Hospital Neuro-ICU, Flower Hospital inpatient rehab, The Lakes of Monclova, and ProMedica Hospice, for their love and kindness. They were truly a blessing to us.In honoring Shirleys wishes, no services will be held. A private burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date in Curtis, MI.
