Sheryle Schoch-Gueli

Sheryle “Sherry” L. (Christie) Schoch-Gueli, age 74, passed away at the University of Toledo Medical Center on November 3, 2024.

Sheryle, the daughter of Richard and Delores (Miller) O'Connor, was born September 9, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother. But most of all, she was the dearest grandmother anyone could wish for.

Sheryle was an employee of Jeep for 30 years, retiring in 2008. In 1992, she met and married the love of her life, Vincent “Vinnie” Gueli, whom passed away only 9 days earlier.

Sheryle devoted her life to family, and was most proud of being “Nanny” to 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to being a doting grandma, Sheryle was a regular volunteer at Springfield Schools, helping with Springfield’s reading program and mentoring for Alateen.

In addition to her husband, Vince Gueli, Sheryle was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Delores (Miller) O'Connor. Sister, Denise O'Connor and daughter, Lorene S. O'Connor.

She is survived by her brothers, Rick (Susan) O'Connor and Timothy (Pam) O'Connor. Sons; Robert “Bo” (Lorraine) Schoch, Jeffrey (Heather) Schoch, and Richard “Ricky” Schoch. Grandchildren; Sara O'Connor, Christina Shagena, Joshua Schoch, Jessica (Schoch) Pittman, Jeffrey Schoch Jr., Monica Schoch, Jason Schoch and Ricky Schoch Jr. Great-grandchildren; Zachary, Kylee, Kaylei, Gavin, Brady, Charlotte, Addison, Jaxon, Emerson, River, Gus, James Dean, Marley Nicole and Addie.
