Shelley Limber

Shelley Lee (Willitzer) Limber, age 65, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on October 6, 2023, at Defiance CHP Hospice. Shelley was a graduate of Defiance High School and worked as quality control in the automotive industry for over 30 years, until her retirement. Shelley was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, where she not only attended mass, but was also employed as kitchen and cleaning help, for the last 8 years. She was an avid animal lover, especially for cats. Shelley held her cats, and every cat, to the highest degree. She never met a stray she couldn’t feed or help with vet care, if needed. Shelley will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Shelley was born on October 31, 1957, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of John “Jack” Anthony, Sr., and Rose (Reynolds) Willitzer. She married James A. Limber in April of 1975, until their parting in March of 1979.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Emily Rose (Limber) Cordes; grandchildren, Kennedy Monroe, Ella Plum, and Alistair Damien; siblings, John Willitzer, Jr., Lynn (Barry) Roth, Mark (Laurie) Willitzer, Sandra (Tim) Hutson, Crystal Willitzer; five nieces, four nephews, five great-nieces, 12 great-nephews, one great-great-niece; father, John “Jack” Anthony Willitzer, Sr. Shelley is preceded in death by her mother, Rose Marie.
