Sheila Marie Whitmore

With heavy hearts the family of Sheila Marie Whitmore (Monhollen) announce her sudden passing on January 31st, 2026, at age 45.

Sheila was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 17th, 1980, to Karen Smith and Howard JC Monhollen. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School and Bedford Public School.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Alexander Davenport; daughters, Katherine Davenport and Madison Yelverton; brothers, Lucas (Kaitlyn) Monhollen, James Schmidt and John (Cassie) Alcock; her stepmother, Cookie Monhollen; grandmother, Mary Monhollen, well as many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard JC Monhollen; mother, Karen Smith, and Grandfather, William “P.Jack” Monhollen.

“The battle was long, the night was cold. But now you rest in gentle light, where your tired mind is equally still and the soul is finally bright.”

Cremation will take place with a memorial celebration at a later date.
