Sharon Kay Ward

Sharon Kay Ward, age 59, of Toledo, passed away on January 4, 2018. She was born on July 6, 1958 in Toledo to Thomas and June (Melton) Ward. Sharon enjoyed planning large family celebrations, including an annual Christmas Eve party, which she hosted for the last 15 years. She also enjoyed gardening and volunteered regularly for her church. Sharon worked for the Kmart company for over 20 years. Sharon is survived by Steven Traylor, her partner of 16 years; siblings Lesa Morrin, Jeffrey Ward, Randy (Sharon) Ward, Robert Ward, and Betty Dahl, Linda (Bill) McDermott, Jane Moore, Roger (Wilma) Ward, and Tommy Ward; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved sister Joyce (Ward) Logsdon and brother, Wayne Ward. A celebration of Sharons life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Bible Temple Church, 3327 Airport Hwy. (419-385-3559).
