Sharon A. Tucholski

May 25, 1945 — November 30, 2024

Sharon (Vorderbruggen) Tucholski, 79, of Sylvania, Ohio, born on May 25, 1945, went to join her Lord and Savior and was reunited with loved ones in Heaven on November 30, 2024


Born in Toledo, Ohio to Louis and Irene (Mroczkowski) Vorderbruggen, Sharon attended St. Hyacinth Grade School, Central Catholic High School and continued to be a devout Catholic throughout her life. She went on to pursue her passion as a hairdresser and then later retired from Kroger.


Sharon was a loving and devoted caregiver, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She took great pride in being a “Busia” and especially loved attending celebrations and gatherings with her family.


Sharon was a member of Toledo Area Polka Society (TAPS) where she enjoyed attending Polka festivals and dances. Sharon made many friends in life who she loved and cared for immensely.


Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Irene (Mroczkowski) Vorderbruggen, brother, Neil Vorderbruggen, former husband, Joe Tucholski, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.


She is survived by her children, Yvonne (Phil) Cook, Joel (Lisa) Tucholski and Andrea Tucholski; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kristen, Kevin, Claira, Lindsey, Brandon, Taryn; great-grandchildren, Aria and Penelope; friend, Larry Wozniak.


The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Timothy Kasunic, Maddison “Maddie” Metcalf, Dr. Faheem Ahmad and all the caring staff at The Karmanos Cancer Institute at The Toledo Clinic Cancer Center, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Father Greg Peatee, Sister Jordan Schaefer and to all who had a hand in her care.


A private service will be held for immediate family and close friends.


Memorial contributions suggested to The Karmanos Cancer Institute, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, or The Ronald McDonald House.
