Sharon D. Gomez

Sharon Diane (Maxwell) Gomez was born in Detroit, MI on June 27, 1948. She went home to Jesus on June 29, 2023 under the care of her son, Ryan Gomez and his girlfriend, Ami Presley with the help of Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.

Sharon spent her days visiting thrift stores, watching movies and the Game Show Network, and snuggling her beloved dog, Popper. She spent her evenings on the phone with her son, Ryan, discussing world events and the days adventures.

Sharon also had a huge heart and fierce sense of determination. When she set her mind on something, there was no stopping her.

She is survived by her sons, Shane, Ryan and Jason, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and George Maxwell; siblings; son, Ricky Gomez; and daughter-in-law, Emily Gomez.

Sharon will be remembered in a small private ceremony, with details to be determined later.
