Sharon L. Fitzgerald

Sharon Lynne Fitzgerald, age 77 years old, passed away on November 18, 2023, at Regency Hospital, in Sylvania, Ohio. Sharon was surrounded by her loving family, holding her tight, as she left this earth and entered heaven. Sharon lived for her family. They were the most important thing in her life and brought her the most joy. She loved animals of all kinds and was known to pick up a stray in need of love. Sharon also enjoyed the water. Traveling to the ocean, boating, and relaxing at the beach. Sharon will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Sharon was born on February 4, 1946, the youngest daughter of 4 children, to Herman and Alice Fitzgerald.

Left to cherish her memory include her two children; Robert A. (Kathleen) Bortles, and Laura L. (Gregory Bugert) Centeno; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Herman (Angie) Fitzgerald; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Herman and Alice Fitzgerald; one sister, Betty Albrecht; one brother, Bob Fitzgerald; her first husband, Robert Bortles, Sr.; second husband, Gary L. Boroughf; her son-in-law, Stacy Centeno, and her very dear, best friend, Freda Sue Wolf.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to DaVita Flower Dialysis and Regency Hospital for all the wonderful care they gave Sharon.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, 1:00-4:00pm, at Lake Township Hall 27975 Cummings Road, Millbury, Ohio 43447. Please feel free to bring a dish to help celebrate. Sandwiches will be provided.
