Shannon Conway

Shannon Conway, age 57, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 20, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the youngest of nine children. From an early age, Shannon carried a strong sense of independence that stayed with her throughout her life.

Shannon dedicated many years to driving a city bus, serving her community with reliability and pride. Beyond her work, she was a gifted crafter and a passionate ballroom dancer. She loved creating costumes, attending festivals, and surrounding herself with music. Shannon’s vibrant spirit, sense of fun, and warm heart made her a cherished sister and friend to many.

She is survived by her siblings, Renee Ringeisen (John), Parks family, Sally Wolff, Sue Floering (Al), Barb Conway (Tom Engh), Ben Conway (Lisa), Colleen Conway, and Chris Conway; her chosen sisters, Carly, Crystal (and “The Baby Amazon”), and Teri; as well as many beloved cousins, an aunt, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Shannon was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Toledo, from whom Shannon received excellent care.
