Scott Hansen

Scott A. Hansen, age 77, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, March 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Karl and Jane (Brecht) Hansen.

Mr. Hansen married the love of his life, Jane (Van Nest), and served as a military police officer at the Air Force base in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was a manager at Churchill's before starting a career as a food broker for Freedom Foods.

After retirement, he enjoyed relaxing at Barton Lake with his family and celebrating happy hour with his friends.

Scott is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane; his sons,

Randy (Christy) Hansen, and Eric (Amy) Hansen; his grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Kennedy, and Matthew; his sisters, Karen (Rick) Palm, and Laurie (John) Haddon; his step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelsey, several nieces and nephews, as well as many great friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice, The VA, and Carol for the amazing care. To honor Scott's wishes there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
