Sarah Morris, age 85, passed away on January 27, 2023. She was born in Mississippi to Lessie Mae Johnson and Harrison Varnell on May 3, 1937. She was a widow to Stanford H. Phillips.
Sarah spent her career in childcare, and enjoyed reading and traveling.
She is survived by her only daughter, Jacqueline Morris-Germani; sons, Gregory Morris, Eric Phillips, and Kevin T. Phillips Sr.; daughters-in-law, Terry, Tanya, and Daphany; grandchildren, Chavae, Shaun, Sieara, Evan, Cara, Eric, Kevin Jr., Charlette, Jamie, Orlanda Jr., Justin, and Ellis; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Justice, Sieana, Cavae, Vegas, Xavier, Sasha, Shaunn, Morgan, Jamari, and Miricle.
She was preceded in death by her son, Orlanda J. Phillips Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 740 N. McCord Rd., Toledo, Ohio.
