Sara A. Morris

Sara Ann Morris passed away on November 4, 2016 in Toledo at 70 years old. Sara was a life-long Toledo resident, born on December 11, 1945 to David and Helen (Welly) Morris. Sara graduated from St. Ursuline Academy in 1963. She went on to study nursing, receiving her LPN certificate at Northwestern Ohio Practical Nurse Training Center. She dedicated more than forty years to the profession, often going beyond the call of duty, taking special interest in private duty nursing. Sara was an avid collector of historic memorabilia. She enjoyed commemorating her family and friends triumphs and was the repository of much historical information. Sara was kind, cheerful and a good listener. She encouraged people through hard times. She had a unique sense of humor that was much appreciated by her sister. They enjoyed the same things. Sara had a love of unusual animals and rescued and cared for many over the course of her life. Sara is survived by her sister, Mary Molly (Paul) Erickson of Anchorage, Alaska, and many other family members. A small celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at Berardis restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 4PM.
