Sandra M. Scott

Sandra "Sandy" Scott (Paseff), age 62 of Defiance, Ohio, passed peacefully at Brookview Health Center Saturday June 18, 2022, after battling cancer. Sandy was born to Jacquelyn and George Paseff, in Toledo, Ohio on May 19, 1960. She married the love of her life by the river August 31, 2002. She happily rejoined her husband Daniel "Danny" Scott, who passed away December 9, 2015. She is also preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Sandy is especially remembered by her only son, Daniel Scott, her vibrant daughters, Cheryl Scott-Shifflett and Dana Mick. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Barbara Tabbert, Mary Mentz, Greg Paseff and Ronny Paseff, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Sandy and family will forever be grateful for her good friends Sal and Sierra Biliti for their selflessness these past few months. Sandy will always be remembered as a spirited, loving mother, and a spitfire force to be reckoned with. She loved watching her cooking shows, camping, and some good country music. It wouldn't be surprising to find her at a garage sale or 4 on nice weekends. She longed to rejoin her husband and would want her loved ones to find peace that she has now. Sandy wanted everyone to know how hard she fought and pushed forward to live through these grueling months. A special thanks to Promedica Hospice for their extraordinary efforts and support. Marlene Baker, RN has been a godsend to us during Sandy's care. A Celebration of Life will be held June 23, 2022 from 2 to 5 pm at Cremation Society of Toledo. 7210 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 A memorial will be held graveside at a later date.
