Sandra K. Korb

Sandra Kay Korb (Sandi/ Crazy Grandma) passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21st, 2022, after a 6 year long battle against cancer. Sandi was born on November 17th, 1962, at the Naval Base in Portsmouth Virginia.

Everyone who knew Sandi knew her big and generous heart. As cliche as it may sound, Sandi was the true definition of “give the shirt off her back” kind of woman. Sandi would put a stranger's health and welfare in front of her own if she felt it could make a difference. Sandi’s loud personality could be heard for miles. She had many hobbies including traveling, crafts, country music and spoiling her grandkids. Sandi was a person of faith who believed in the Lord and savior Jesus Christ and even in the worst of times Sandi was the most optimistic person.

Sandi was survived by her husband, Steven Korb; daughter, Brandie (Jason) Greer; son, Brandon (Mariah) Korb; mother, Mary (Roy) Dietch; father, Richard (Karen) Yeager; father-in-law, Jeffery Korb; sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Kulp and Richelle (Dan) Williams; sisters-in-law, Jody Korb and Jennifer Reichow. Sandi was beloved by her grandchildren, Bryce, Ava, Landyn, Carly, Bella, Addie and Jace. Sandi was the favorite Aunt of her immediate nieces and nephews, Paul, Josh, Jake, Josie, Cassius, Holly, Heather, Hannah, Stuart, Harlie, Steven, Kristi, and JD, as well as 27 great nieces and nephews. Sandi was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Karen Korb and brother-in-law, Herbert Reichow.

Sandi (and her family) would like to thank Dr. Phinney and Palakodeti (as well as their staff) for their continued support throughout her battle with this rare form of Cancer. Sandi’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 13th at the Springfield Township Hall, 7617 Angola Rd., Holland OH, 43528 from 4-8 pm.
