Samantha Marie Black (Kaczmarek), 32, of Wauseon, OH, formerly of Northfield Center, OH, peacefully passed away in the arms of her loving husband and surrounded by family and friends on April 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with Stage IV triple negative metastatic ductal carcinoma.

Samantha was born on September 1, 1993 in Garfield Hts., OH, to David Kaczmarek and Julianne Kaczmarek (Dressman). Samantha graduated from Nordonia High School Class of 2011 and earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Education from BGSU. Samantha was a devoted third grade teacher at Archbold Elementary. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with her students, making learning joyful, and creating a classroom filled with laughter, curiosity, and kindness. Her impact on the lives of her students will be felt for years to come.

Above all, Samantha's greatest love was for her family. She married her best friend and true love, Christopher in 2017, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

They were blessed with their daughters, Stella Jo (5) and Riley Ann (2), who were the center of Samantha's world. She lovingly described Stella as her mini-me, full of compassion, wit, and a caring heart, and Riley as cuddly, sensitive and having a nurturing soul. Samantha cherished every moment with her girls, and alongside Chris, they were her strength, joy, and her light through life's most difficult days.

Samantha found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved crocheting cozy gifts, getting lost in a book, baking delicious treats, and tending to her garden where both flowers and vegetables thrived under her gentle care. Whether nurturing plants, children, or relationships, Samantha gave of herself fully and selflessly.

A radiant soul, Samantha was known for her warm smile, fun-loving spirit, and vibrant personality. She formed lasting connections with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on not only in her daughters, but in all who knew her.

Samantha is survived by her beloved husband, Christopher Iven Black; cherished daughters, Stella Jo and Riley Ann; parents, David Kaczmarek and Julianne Kaczmarek (Dressman); brothers, Nicholas Kaczmarek and Mark Kaczmarek; as well as grandparents, many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Samantha Black from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Wauseon VFW, Post 7424 located at 1133 N Ottokee St. Wauseon, OH 43567.
