Sally Jo Ross, 56 years, a very proud 12 year resident of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, peacefully passed into the arms of angels on Saturday, October 10, 2020, with family closely by her side. She was the firstborn beautiful daughter of four children, blessed from the union of our late parents, Larry and Sondra Ross. Sally was a 1984 DeVilbiss High School graduate of the Visually Impaired Program. Sally is belovedly remembered for her kind and caring nature, always willing to share a hug and volunteer her help and services to others. She has left a very special personal mark in the hearts of so many. She had a long affiliation with the Toledo Library System, The Ability Center and enjoyed participating in University of Toledo Wheelchair Football each season. For the past 12 years, Sally has enjoyed a very caring and fulfilling life in the home of her brother Scott and his wife Lisa, along with their three sons. Her favorite past times and hobbies included a special fondness for word-find books, TV shows of the 70’s and 80’s, phone conversations, and by far being the greatest pen and marker collector ever. Sally achieved a very prominent volunteer status in Perrysburg, Ohio for the Way Library and Cedar Creek Church. Her life legacy will carry on in many special ways through dedications and memorials, already taking place and more to be planned at a later date. To cherish her memory always, she leaves her brother Scott (Lisa) Ross of Perrysburg, OH; nephews Canon (Mariah), Hunter (Taylor), and Aiden. Sister Tracy Mueller; Hannah, both of Monroe, MI, brother Tyler (Sindy) Ross of Dallas, GA; Jeremy, Josh, Justine. Brother-in-law Rodney Mueller and extended family, many cousins and special close neighbors and friends from Calyx Lane, Toledo, Ohio. Sally was preceded by our parents Larry and Sondra Ross, who we know welcomed her with smiles and open arms. May peace be with you, Dad, Mom and Sally. Arrangements have taken place, respectfully, by the Cremation Society of Toledo, where memories and messages may be shared online at their website. A private family Memorial Luncheon has taken place in Sally’s honor, including a special balloon release, with word-find pages attached, sent by her brother Scott. Special mention and appreciation is extended for all of the wonderful compassion and care provided to Sally by her Oncology team, Hospice of Northwest Ohio and incredible devotion for Sally’s every need by her brother Scott, displaying an undeniable lifelong bond they both lovingly shared. Love you Sal. “Same.”
