Ruth was born in 1946 among a family of five and attended Rogers High School in Toledo, Ohio.” Ruth attended”the”Toledo Academy”of Beauty”and worked as a beautician, and later”supported her familys manufacturing business.” Ruth was a quiet and gentle soul who enjoyed reading, music, walking”and writing.”She walked everywhere she could in Toledo until rheumatoid arthritis made her unable to.” Ruth loved animals and showed her lifelong kindness by sheltering homeless cats and taking care of them.”” Ruth”showed her tough nature by fighting multiple health issues and ultimately”passed away after struggling to beat a bacterial infection.””Ruth is”preceded in death by older sister Suzanne Post Kennedy and older brother Duane Philip Post.” She is”survived by sons Darren”(Laura)”and James Nowak, grandsons James Nowak II and Griffin Nowak, brothers David and Robert Post, and nieces Mindy (Ed) Odom and Heather (Ryan) Pyle.” Services will be in private.” Memorial contributions may be made”to Humane Ohio at”www.humaneohio.org.” Online condolences may be shared with the family at toledocremation.com
