Russell E. Mcneal

Russell Eugene McNeal, 78, of Monclova Township, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Russell "Gene" was born November 11, 1944,  the son of Russell and Rita (Rambo) McNeal and was a 1962 graduate of Deavertown High School in southern Ohio.

He was a 50 Year Millwright member of Local 1393 Ohio and 1906 Philadelphia and business agent for 1393. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 646 in Holland, Ohio.

Russell loved NASCAR racing, bowling and golf. He was a dedicated OSU Buckeye and Philadelphia Eagles fan who enjoyed time with his family on the Southern Ohio Farm and trips to Upper Michigan.

Surviving is his loving wife of 35 years, Janice M. McNeal; daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Webster and Catherine (Tony Burns) Stentz; grandchildren, Chance, Hannah and Emily; brothers, David (Pat) McNeal; Randy (Mary) McNeal, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David McNeal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Services will be private.
