Russell Lynn Downard

Russell Lynn Downard, born on August 24, 1948 to Howard and Alberta Downard, passed away at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 24, 2022, at the age of 73. He attended schools in Toledo, Ohio, and was a truck driver for 45 years until he retired. Russell liked to fish and shoot off guns with his boys. He was in the Marines and served two terms in Vietnam as a radio operator. Russell is survived by his wife Katherine (Kathy) Downard of 33 years; his children Russ Jr., Ronnie, Eddie, Dawn, George, Don, Cindy, and Dawn; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and three brothers and sisters.
