Ruben M. Lopez, Sr.

Ruben M Lopez, Sr., 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away February 21, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid. He was born September 21, 1942 in Ann Arbor, MI to Consepsion (Morales) and Alfonso Lopez.

Ruben retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service. He also worked at Auto Zone. He loved Michigan Wolverine Football, Detroit Tigers, bowling, golf, and dancing. He was married to Angelita (Gallardo) in 1963.

Ruben is survived by his sons, Ruben M. (Kimberly) Lopez Jr., Alfonso (Lydia) Lopez, Raymond (Kimi) Lopez, and Keith Bausman; brothers, Jesse Lopez, Richard (Connie) Lopez; sisters, Rose Garza and Elsie Garcia; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Christopher Lopez, Nicholas Lopez, Andrew (Sofia) Lopez, Tiffany (Michael) Draeger, Angela (Vince) Dunn, David Lopez, Ashley (Timothy) Brock, Christina Lopez, Kaylee Lopez, Raymond Lopez, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Matthew Harmon, Christian Lopez, Noah Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez, Zachary Lopez, Damien Lopez,Felicity Lopez, Kinsley Lopez, Malachi Lopez, Levi Lopez, Owen Lopez, Hunter Draeger, Elliott Draeger, Dean Draeger, and Gene Draeger.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesse Lopez; and brother, Alfonso Lopez.

No funeral service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
