Roy Cerveny passed away at the age of 35 unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm on March 11th 2020 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born to Paul and Cheryl Cerveny (Rovan). He was a life long resident of Point Place. Roy was a dedicated husband for 12 years and a devoted father to Kaliey (11) and Annabelle ( 2 months old) Cerveny. Roy was a plumbers assistant at a local business by trade and loved to fix cars and other things in his spare time. Roy had a heart of gold and took pride in helping others. His hobbies included playing chess and video games. He loved to grill outside and play music for the family. Roy is survived by his wife, Laura Cerveny; daughters, Kaliey and Annabelle Cerveny; mother, Cheryl (Robert) Rovnan; siblings, Belinda (Guy) Lemons, Sherri (Mike) Mulkey, Paul (Nichole) Cerveny IV, Jeromy (Amy) Zurschmit; sister-in-law, Susan (Jason) Krouse; Mother-in-law Carol Harris; aunt and uncle, Donna (Scott) Warnka, and Lori Okemen; special friends, Jackie Henzler, Big Mike, Jesse Limes, Aaron Hoyt, and Booke; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cerveny III; grandparents, Lola Humphrey and Roy L. Gilligan; father-in-law, Ronald Harris; and great-niece, Ava Lemons. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital and Life Connection for their continued efforts and care. A Celebration of Roy’s Life will be held at a later date.
