Monday January 4th, 2021 Rosemary Jane Hart lost her battle with Dementia. After receiving love and affirmation from her family she peacefully drifted away from this earth. Rosemary was born in Maine to George and Margaret (Long) Coffin. She was known by everyone who knew and loved her as Rosie. Growing up she always loved crocheting, painting, and riding motorcycles. One thing Rosie loved to do in her down time was drive to Maine to her family’s homestead. Her heart always was at peace in Maine. She lived her younger years in Maine, then moved to Arizona, and the past 40 plus years in Toledo where she became a successful dog breeder and owned her own successful dog grooming business “Animal Instincts” for several years until retiring. The last few years Rosemary was a resident at Swanton Valley Healthcare Center. Rosie is survived by her children David Bedrin, Stephen Bedrin III, Mary-Margaret Comstock (John), and Cassandra Hart Jones. Also surviving are several grandchildren including Jesse Shoemaker and Joan Comstock who have great memories of their Grandmas wild adventures, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Rosemary remained close with her former daughter-in-law Julie Fegyak. Rosemary is preceded in death by her father George, mother Margaret and brother George Jr. who also went by the name Jackie. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Swanton Valley Healthcare Center. The care and compassion you showed mom never went un-noticed. In lieu of flowers family asks you consider a donation to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter. Animals were a huge part of Rosie’s life.
