Rose M. Craig

Rose (Ingram) Craig, 78 years young, passed on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Toledo, Ohio. She was born July 28, 1946 in Akron, Ohio.

Rose graduated from South High School in Akron, Ohio where her class voted her as Prom Queen! She worked at Akron Children’s Hospital as a phlebotomist for 42 years.

Rose loved decorating, yard work and going to beautician. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, which she made a special meal for each of them that they all remember, but their favorite was her Thanksgiving dressing.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Tina Craig and Natasha (Craig) Wright; grandchildren, Kristopher Caver, Kenneth Craig, Kortese Craig, Chance Craig, and Honey Craig; siblings, Victoria Dent and Bernie Ingram; family friend, James Head; best friend, Sallie Cooper; and children's godmother, Mary Lytle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Ingram of Atlanta, Georgia and Mary (Averiette) Ingram of Fayetteville, Alabama; husband, Ernisto L. Craig; siblings, Wesley Ingram Jr., Ann Copeland, Barbara Counsil, Brenda Johnson, Edward Averiette, and Albert Ingram.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Spring Meadows Villa, especially Lakeshea, Jazmin, Gail, and Amanda, for their amazing care they provided for Rose.
