Ronnie W. Orner

We are sad to announce that Ronnie “Grizz” Orner, 63, passed away peacefully at home in Swanton, Ohio on November 18, 2022.

Grizz worked as a journeyman machinist for many decades. He retired in 2013. He loved hanging out with his family and friends and tinkering on his man toys. Grizz was a member of the Swanton VFW and a staple at Hubs. He was always a pleasure to be around and known for his huge Bear Hugs.

He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Foltz and Janet Orner. In addition, his siblings, Karl (Rose), Jack, Janet, Veronica, Susie (Ronald), Randy (Anita), and Jeff.

Grizz was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Elizabeth Orner; his brother, Rick Orner and sister, Sylvia Tomlin.

A Celebration of Ronnie's Life will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the American Legion Post 479, 200 S. Hallett Avenue, Swanton, OH 43558 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
