Ronald Everett VanBuren

Ronald Everett “Ronnie” VanBuren, 49, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 5, 1976, to Cynthia Garnett and was later adopted and deeply loved by Glenn VanBuren.

Ron married Suzanne VanBuren in 2015, and together they had two children, Zachary and Abigail. He loved his children and family. He LOVED all things sports, especially Ohio teams, and will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and strength. 

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Zachary and Abigail; stepmom, Jeanette VanBuren McCracken and Dave McCracken; siblings, Melissa Padilla, Rob VanBuren, Trisha VanBuren, and Shawn VanBuren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia Garnett and Glenn VanBuren.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 29, 2025, at Lily of the Valley in Geneva, Ohio.
