Ronald W. Fuerst

Ronald Wayne Fuerst died on April 17, 2021, at the age of 85 of heart disease. He was born on February 24, 1936 in Toledo to Henry and Ruth Fuerst. Ron married the love of his life, Sharon Valerius, on October 27, 1956. They were married 65 years. From this union, they had two sons, Doug and Greg, and daughter, Denise Fuerst. Ron has two sisters, Nancy (Ron) Capron and Fran (Bill) Knack. Preceded Ron in death was his parents; his son, Greg and brother-in-law, Ron Capron. Ron has five grandchildren, Cody, Todd, Alyssa (Logan), Taylor, and Riley; six great-grandchildren, Felix, Gracie, Elijah, Dharma, Cailynn, and Ariya. Ron enjoyed every moment he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He often reminisced about their visits when cute things were said or done. Nothing gave him more joy. Ron was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for most of his life. He and Sharon moved to North Port, Florida after retirement, for 8 ½ years. After enjoying their time in Florida, they moved back to Toledo. Ron enjoyed playing golf, riding his motorcycle and his hobby was building model airplanes, that he took much pride in. No services for Ron are scheduled at this time.
