Roger Lawrence

Roger L. Lawrence passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 1:20pm at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Roger was born on June 23, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Bill and Mary Louise (Engle) Lawrence, who precede him in death. On January 19, 1993, he married Sally Horvath here in Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Lawrence was employed for the last three years as a carpenter for Bureau of Concrete. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his son Carl, playing with his grandchildren, and playing his guitar. He is survived by his wife, Sally Lawrence of Northwood, Ohio; children, Holly Horvath of Oklahoma, Chris Williams and Carl Smith both of Toledo; seven granchildren and a sister, Sally (Brian) Sutton of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 16, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Redeemer Missionary Church, 5321 Springdale, Toledo, 43613. The Pastor Jeff T. McKinnon will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Redeemer Missionary Church in Rogers name. The family has entrusted the care of Mr. Lawrence to the Cremation Society of Toledo. Online condolences may be made below.
