Rodney E. Williams passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio at the age of 90. He was born at Flower Hospital on October 10, 1930 to parents, Walter & Leona Williams Rodney attended DeVeaux Elementary School and graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1948. He served in the Korean War, but didn't see combat. He worked for the Toledo Schools as a boiler operator for 30 years. After retiring, he started his own embroidery business with his second wife, Arloa. He was married to his first wife, Mary Jane and they had one child, Jeffrey. He collected stamps and enjoyed that hobby. Rodney is survived by his second wife, Arloa; his only son, Jeff; and his brothers, Denny & Myron Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Leona Williams and his first wife, Mary Jane. Rodney was a very kindhearted man, who put others needs before his own. He loved animals and gave many stray cats & dogs a home and lots of love. His wishes were not to have a Memorial service. His ashes will be spread at Toledo Memorial Park, where is first wife, Mary Jane, is buried.
