Rodney A. Kincaid, age 48 of Ida, MI. born to the late Marggie Corrine and Clarence Edward Kincaid, passed away at his residence on April 10th 2014. Growing up, Rodney was a boy scout, being lead by his Father as a scout leader. Rodneys hobbies included camping, fishing, bike riding, hunting, swimming, remote controlled gas powered airplanes and cars. Rodney also enjoyed dirt bikes and four-wheelers with his family. Rodney was an Auto Body Technician for over 25 years. He started his profession at Maaco where he gained his expertise and shared 13 years with fellow co-worker who all became very close. He continued his passion for auto body work by starting his own business known as Toledo Auto Paint Service as the owner/operator. Rodney proved to be an asset to a number of well established auto dealerships in the Maumee and Toledo area. Rodney took great pride in his work. Rodney is proceeded in death by his father, Clarence Edward Kincaid; of Fairbanks, Alaska, and his mother, Marggie Corrine Michalak; of Toledo. Surviving are his three children, daughters Ashley Luben-Kincaid (Jeremy Brighton); of West Unity, Amanda Kincaid; of Walbridge, and son Rodney Kincaid II (Jamie Conrad); of Toledo, four grandchildren, Laci R. Kotalo, Dylan M. Brighton, Alexis E. Brighton and Adrian H. Conrad and his beloved wife of 28 years, Debra M. Kincaid. Also surviving are his three brothers, Terry R. Kincaid (Judy), John E. Kincaid (Sharon), Randy W. Kincaid (Karen) and two sisters, Lynann L. Cunningham (George), and Deborah K. Wood (John) along with his nephews, Dustin Kincaid, Nicholas Kincaid, Thomas David Kincaid (T.J.), Corey King and nieces, Michelle Black, Kimberly Westervelt, Kelly Burmeister and Courtney Erddman and his step-mother Lois Kincaid of Alaska. There will be private services with immediate family at a later date. A memorial is being scheduled for May 10th 2014 to honor Rodney and his father, Clarence Edward Kincaid who passed March 27th 2013.
