Rodney and Louise loved working with the horses. It was a true passion. Rodney became an owner, trainer, and driver licensed with the United States Trotting Association and Standardbred Canadian Association. Rodney loved playing golf and being with his loving family. If you were Rodney’s friend, you were very special to him. Rodney loved telling stories about his life. He even wrote a book about his life. It will be wonderful to pass down to future generations. He also enjoyed painting landscapes, mostly of Mount Baker in Washington State. His horses remained his life’s enjoyment. The old John Wayne movies were a great comfort to him in his later years. Rodney is survived his children, Jon (Linda) Jungquist, David (Mary) Jungquist and Megan (Parker) Jungquist, as well as 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, in 2017; parents and sister, Jean (Histed) Jungquist. The family is asking that remembrances be made in Rodney’s name to their favorite charity.
