Rodney H. Bruce, Sr.

Rodney H. Bruce, Sr., age 67, passed away October 19th, 2024, at Heritage Village. He was born to Bennie and Shirley Bruce on April 9th, 1957. He was a graduate at Woodward High School. He was a cook at various restaurants and clubs. He loved his coffee and talk with the family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He served six years in the Marines. He had this saying to me, “It’s not goodbye it’s see you later,” and he lived by that.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie; son, Rodney Jr.; daughter, Tabitha (Raymond) Coleman; grandchildren, Drusella, Daphne, Ross, Dominick, and Trae; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
