Robert A. Whiteaker

Robert (Bob) A. Whiteaker has left his worldly home to join his mother in Heaven on October 25th 2022.

He was born April 2 of 1959 in Toledo Ohio to his loving parents Jesse Robert Whiteaker and Marlene (Creque) Whiteaker. He attended Sylvania High School, graduating class of 1977. He later went on to Brazosport College and Rets Institute of Technology where he obtained his associates degree. He was a car hauler for Cassens Transport and an owner operator through Fleetcar and loved that he was able to work in a field with one of his many passions, hauling top of the line luxury and muscle cars.

Although Bob only had 2 children many called him dad. Bob was a classic man who had many interests and pursuits in life; he loved classic cars, classic guitars, and classic rock. He inspired others around him to pursue their musical interests when he played the guitar for his kids, kids' friends, and family. Bob was a true car enthusiast who loved and cherished the memories of his cars throughout the years. His first car was a 55’ Chevy and he was so proud when he bought his 79’ Camaro brand new he also shared fond memories of when he built and custom painted his 1969 Camaro with a blue flake. Bob had many other muscle cars throughout his life but those were most special to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marlene (Creque) Whiteaker and survived by his son Nicholas Whiteaker, (Jessica Seiler-Whiteaker); and grand-children Elizabeth, Samantha, Jack, and Emma Whiteaker as well as his daughter Melissa McCain, and grand-children Tony, Zander, and Connor McCain he is also survived by his father Jesse Robert Whiteaker sister Robyn Whiteaker and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 2-5 at Springfield Township Hall 7617 Angola Rd Holland Oh 43528.
