Robert “Bob” Steven Tarbuskovich, 71, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 in an Oak Harbor auto accident. He was born on October 15, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington, the son of John and Josephine (Piscitello) Tarbuskovich. He was a 1969 graduate of Leigh High School in San Jose, California. Following graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War until 1975. He then enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he was trained in law enforcement. After completing his military service in 1979, he worked as a surgical orderly, a nurse’s aide and a substitute teacher. Robert enjoyed designing jewelry, woodworking and anything to do with science. Survivors include his brothers, Joseph Tarbuskovich and Dennis (Arlene) Tarbuskovich; sister-in-law, Jeanette Tarbuskovich; nephews, Andrew (Monica) Tarbuskovich, Bradley Tarbuskovich, Marc Tarbuskovich, John (April) Tarbuskovich and Wayne (Raquel) Tarbuskovich. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Tarbuskovich; niece, Elizabeth Tarbuskovich; nephews, Nicolas Tarbuskovich and Joseph Tarbuskovich Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the www.woundedwarriorproject.org
