Robert Louis Robinson

Robert Louis Robinson the fourteenth child, born to the union of Henry and Augusta Robinson, in Portageville, MO, on September 8, 1951. He departed this life March 8, 2012 at age sixty (60) at Ebeid Promedica Hospice. A rambunctious child, Robert moved to Toledo, OH with his sister, Mary at age eight (8). Mary introduced him to the truth of Gods word. He came to appreciate what he learned and his love for Jehovah grew. He dedicated his life to Jehovah God and symbolized it on October 30, 1965, thus becoming one of Jehovahs Witnesses. He graduated from Macomber Vocational High School, as an auto body repairman, in 1969. Due to his intense love and compassion for people, he shared in the full time ministry for many years, aiding several people to dedication and baptism. He married Cheryl Lynn Clements of Cleveland, OH on August 31, 1974. To this union, three daughters were born. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed reading, traveling with his family, working with his hands, and entertaining friends in their home. A practical and wise man, he was a great source of strength to his family, as well as the congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. He worked as an auto body repairman for Grogan, before becoming a Fireman for the Toledo Fire Department in February 1988. He went on to become a Paramedic and later, an EMS instructor; further touching the lives of many in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Augusta, brothers, Arthur, Fred, Milton, Henry, Louis, and John, sisters, Willie Mae, Mary and Betty. He leaves to cherish his memories and await his resurrection, His loving wife of 37 years, Cheryl Robinson; daughters, Allita (Earnest) Alexander, LaJuan and Miea Robinson; honorary son Mike White; grandsons, Remington, Reece, Kingston; sisters, Rose L. Buckner and Annie B. (Willie) Johnson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 740 McCord Rd., between 3-4 p.m. and funeral services will immediately follow.
