Robert Reschke

Robert S. Reschke, age 72, of Bellevue, Ohio, slipped away from us, late Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Robert was born in Akron, Ohio, the middle child of Samuel and Jean (Wyatt) Reschke. He graduated from Akron university with a degree in Industrial Management. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and watching Ohio sports, especially the Browns, Buckeyes, and Cleveland Indians (which they will always be), although often disappointed with the outcome of the games.

Bob’s favorite pastimes included detailing and polishing his cars, maintaining his home and yard, and mostly, loving his fur baby, Coco. He was an excellent cook and house husband. He was a member of the local social clubs as well. Including Clyde Eagles 2291, VFW 3343, Bellevue Eagles 490, and Clyde Moose 393, where he enjoyed watching sports with his friends, who will miss him greatly.

Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sherri; sister, Sandy (Marty) Woods; brother, Tim Reschke; daughters, Kelly, and Melissa Reschke, all living in the Akron area; many nieces, and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Cremation services will be provided by the Cremation Society of Toledo. There will not be a showing or visitation, as Bob would not have wanted that. A private service will be held at a later date.
