Robert Purnell

Robert Purnell, 52, of Defiance, Ohio, died at Northwest Hospice of Ohio in Toledo on Friday, November 5, 2010.Bob was born January 5, 1958 in Camden, New Jersey to George and Virginia (Plumb) Purnell. He was preceded in death by both his parents.He attended Baptist High School in Haddon Heights, New Jersey and continued his education at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA where he received a Bachelors degree in ministry.Bob was a Bible scholar with exceptional insight. After the Lord his family came first but he also loved his friends and would do anything for them. He traveled to various countries in his lifetime including Brazil, where his wifes family lived. His hobbies included wood working, guns and he was a Computer Whiz.He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Branda) and his four children Amanda, Nathaniel, Alexander and Erica and by his sister her husband Virginia (Purnell) and Robert Unruh and niece, Jennifer Unruh and nephew, Scott Unruh.A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Free Christian Church of God,20871 Ohio 15Continental, OHIn lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made to the Robert Purnell Memorial Fund.
