Robert S. Kert, Jr.

Robert (Bob) S. Kert, Jr. was born on January 19, 1957 in Lawton, OK to Robert S. Kert, Sr. and Olive (Snookie) Anderson, and died on December 11, 2021. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1975. Bob was a journeyman tool and die maker and machine repairman and was employed at the Chrysler Fiat engine plant in Dundee, MI. Bob was a “Car Guy”, often pointing out cars and rattling off the make, model and year. He met the love of his life, Marcia (Drill) in 1972. They married on June 18, 1976. Bob is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Courtney (Bart) Kigar and Robert (Amanda) Kert; grandchildren, Ian, Maximus and Cecilia Kigar, and Madison and Xander Kert; sister, Joan (Tim) Drill; brothers-in-law, Lester, Ken (Cindy) Drill, and Ben (Jillian) Drill; sister-in-law, Denise Schick; mother-in-law, Kathryn Drill; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
