Robert Fuller

Robert (Bob) Earl Fuller, 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in his home surrounded by his kids. He was born September 12, 1936 in East Cleveland Hospital to Robert Lee Fuller and Edna May (Dunkerton) Fuller. Bob graduated from Swanton High School in 1954. He married the love of his life Dorothy Mae Rober (deceased) on July 16, 1955. After Bob attended The Ohio State University for dairy technology, he worked at Babcock Dairy in Toledo for 29-1/2 years until its closure in 1984. He held numerous positions including in the cooler, loading trucks, pasteurizing the milk, and in the lab testing samples. Bob continued his career at Consumer Guild Foods for 16 years as head of Quality Management where he created numerous recipes for sauces and condiments that were distributed to restaurants and hotels, eventually retiring in 2001 as a stay-at-home grandpa watching many of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob loved to spend time with Dot, family, and friends. He enjoyed many activities including gardening, fishing, camping, hunting. Bob & Dot were members of the Rolling Dutchman Camping Club for many years. Bob, Dot, their children, and grandchildren spent many weekends and holidays at their seasonal camp site at Silver Lake in Indiana. Many memories were made there. Bob spent many hours with Dot playing BINGO, square dancing, and bowling. Bob was a member at Olivet Lutheran Church where he sang in the church choir for many years. He was also a member of Knights of Pythias and was in many bowling leagues. Bob is missed dearly by his; children, Lynne (Bob) Brubaker, Pam Tatkowski, Jeff (Lisa) Fuller; grandchildren, Jamie (Dave) Evans, Kelly Brubaker, Jason (Erin) Tatkowski, Dani (Eric) Rice, Joshua (Rachelle) Below, Erin (Rob) Davenport, Tiffany Fuller, Derek Fuller, Jordan Fuller and Jake Fuller; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kyle Evans, Jake and Scarlett Tatkowski, Alex Relyea, Ash and Ali Rice, Korbin, Jax, and Addie Below, Dawson and Bekah Davenport, Tristan Jackson, and Mia Fuller; sister, Dorothy White; sister-in-law Pat Rober; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy; son, Douglas Fuller; son-in-law, John Tatkowski; great-granddaughter, Miriah Tatkowski; sister, Marilyn (James) Krupa; brother, Richard Fuller; brothers-in-law Bill White; Joseph Rober (6/18/2022), sisters-in-law, Carol (Albert) Glover, Betty (Gerald) Huber, and Rose (Neil) Pasquinelli. Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 starting at 1:00 PM. There will be Celebration of Life immediately after the service until 4:30 PM at Olivet Lutheran Church, 5840 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio Living Hospice for their kindness and loving care, especially Nurse Nicole.
