Robert J. Cooper

Robert Jerry Cooper left this earth on August 30, 2022. Jerry was 78 years old. He was in the care of Hospice of NW Ohio since August 22nd. Jerry was born in Bluefield, WV on July 12, 1944. His parents were Janice Akers Cooper and Robert McCoy Cooper. He attended Bluefield High School in Bluefield, WV and graduated in 1962. He left Bluefield and went to work for Norfolk and Western Railroad now Norfolk and Southern in Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio. He loved swimming, biking and running. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. Survivors include his daughter, Lyn Cooper; son, Robert Arthur Cooper and wife Amanda Cooper; two precious grandchildren Morgan Paige Cooper and Chase Robert Cooper. His parents preceded him in death and his brother Benny Cooper. The Cremation Society of Toledo is caring for him. Our thanks to Hospice of NW Ohio and the cremation society.
