Robert Barocsi

Robert Dale Barocsi, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. Born on November 23, 1951, Robert lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and joy.

Robert was employed by Libbey Glass beginning in maintenance, then becoming an FP mechanic, and retired as a machinist with over forty years of service. In his youth, Robert played softball and was an avid bowler and golfer. Robert loved spending time with family, especially his grandson, Blake.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Joan Barocsi; sister, Marlene Obrien; and nephew, Michael Barocsi.

Robert is survived by his son, Matthew; grandson, Blake; and siblings, Matthew, Mitzi, Monica, Melissa, and Michelle.

Robert will remain in our hearts and he will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be planned at a later date. Contributions can be made directly to the family.

Our deepest gratitude is extended to members of the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department. Robert's legacy will continue on through the gift of corneal and tissue donation.
