Ricky D. Halter

Ricky Daniel Halter, Passed away peacefully on 08/21/2020 at St Vincent’s hospital in Toledo, OH. After a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born 03/14/1958 in Toledo, OH to Jacob and Dorothy (Larberg) Halter. He was preceded in death by his Father Jacob Halter, Mother Dorothy Halter (Larberg) and brother Tommy Halter. He is survived by his only child Jason Halter (Casie). His Brothers Roy, Eddie (Jody), Karl, Johnny, James and Norman Halter and his sister Carolyn (Halter)Bryan. Many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He grew up in Ottawa Lake, MI and graduated from Whiteford High school. He loved playing his guitar and singing with his brothers. He worked for Jeep back in the 80’s and then got into roofing and loved what he did. He dabbled a bit in working on cars and he liked to work on things and make things. He had his demons but always remained positive and was a big jokester and enjoyed making others laugh! The family gives special thanks to The Cremation Society of Toledo and his long time friend and boss Rich Faulkner! Ricky will be missed by many and forever loved!
