Rickey Ethridge

Rick Ethridge, age 62, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice after a three year battle with cancer. He was a wonderful husband, father, Peepaw, family member, and friend to many. His grandkids were the light of his life. Rick also had a true love of animals. He never met a dog he didnt fall in love with.Rick worked at Nabisco for 40 years and retired from there in 2009. He is survived by his wife, Sally, his sons, Christopher (Jennifer) Alford, Jason Alford, and his grandkids, Dakota and Jade Alford. He is also survived by his brothers, David (Tess) Ethridge, Doug Ethridge, his mother- in- law, Kay Patterson, and many more loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Cordell, brother, Richard (Delia) Ethridge and his father-in-law, Duane Patterson. The family will have a private service to celebrate Ricks life. Memorial contributions in memory of Rick may be given to The Toledo Area Humane Society or Erie West Hospice.
