Rick W. Mellinger

Rick W. Mellinger, age 58, passed away, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Rick was born in Tecumseh, Michigan, to Lewis W. and Mary C. (Becker). He was a 1983 graduate of Milan High School, where he participated in track and wrestling. Rick worked in print shops and binderies, his entire life. He enjoyed attending car shows, and even entered his beloved red Camaro. In his spare time, Rick went to the casinos, loved riding his bike, and had a passion for baking, especially cakes. Rick was known to be helpful and most of all, cherished spending time with his son, Jay, who he loved endlessly.

Survivors include his son, Jay Mellinger; brothers, Mark (Karen), Lewis (Janet) Mellinger; sisters, Louanne (Mike) Betts; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dear friends. Rick is proceeded in death by his parents, Lewis W., and Mary C. (Becker) Mellinger.

A memorial service, in honor of Ricks life, will be held at a later date.
