Richard "Dick" L. Vincent

September 1, 1939 — September 15, 2023

Richard “Dick” L. Vincent, age 84, passed away peacefully at Ebeid Hospice on September 15, 2023.


He was a lifelong resident of Shoreland/Point Place and was one of the original members of the Placers Car club with his 1949 Mercury. He also served proudly in the United States Marine Corps and received a medical discharge. Dick also was a volunteer fireman for over 10 years and worked his way up to 1st Assistant Chief at Washington Township Fire Department. Dick worked for A.P. Parts over 33 years and kept busy at other various jobs until retirement.


He had hobbies of hunting, fishing, refinishing antiques and loved doing wood working. He was always available to help his friends and family. In his later years, he enjoyed visiting casinos with his wife.


Dick is survived by his sons, Robert (Renee) Vincent and Jeffery L. Vincent; grandchildren, Gina M. Vincent and Jeremiah Snyder; great grandchildren, Nico and Emelio Snyder; sisters-in-law, Winnefred Vincent and Mary Norton, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sylvia M. Vincent.


Dick will be greatly missed and will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends.
