Richard J. Staniszewski

Richard J. Staniszewski passed from this life, Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at Perrysburg Rehabilitation and Care Center. He was born May 6th, 1927 to Felix and Sophie (Knapik) Staniszewski. He was married to Louise E. Kowalewski, Sept. 17th, 1949. Richard was preceded in death by his loving parents and sister, Joanne Akenberger. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Louise; sons, Terence and Mark; daughters, Denise (John) McGeorge, of Toledo, OH, Renee (Tim) Hostetler, of Lawrenceburg, KY; grandchildren, Benjamin McGeorge, Michael Hostetler, Anya Staniszewski, and Christine Hostetler. Richard graduated from Macomber Vocational High School and he later attended Electronic Technical School in Chicago IL. He served in the US Coast Guard aboard the USS Mayo transport vessel just after WWII. Richard was employed for over 50 years in the Television and Stereo Service industry for various employers, and was co-owner of S&S Television Sales & Service for the last 25 years of his career. Rich loved bowling, reading, gardening, and a good party with family and friends. There will be no memorial service. Online condolences may be shared below:
