Richard Wayne Roebuck Sr. of Walhalla, Michigan, former long-time resident of Lane County, Oregon. Mr. Roebuck passed away Oct. 18, 2011 of complications following heart surgery at Ann Arbor VA Hospital in Michigan. He was 55.He was born Jan. 3, 1956, in Springfield, Oregon to Donald and Charlotte Mayfield Roebuck. He moved to Michigan in January 2009, where he married his true love and soul mate, Laurie Stille-Herron on November 11, 2010He graduated from Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon with a degree in Welding. He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1993 reaching the rank of E-6. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad, and Archer Floor Covering both of Oregon.Survivors include his wife, Laurie Roebuck; his mother Charlotte Jackson of Oklahoma; mother-in-law Joyce Stille and father-in-law Richard (Gail) Stille all of Michigan; sons, Richard (Tiffany) Roebuck, Jr. and Matthew Clark of Michigan; daughters, Rickina (Randy) Bailey of Oregon, Angie (Kevin) Dirkse both of Michigan, a sister, Patricia Roebuck (Bryan) Wicks of Oklahoma, sister-in-laws Linda Smith, Susan Graves and Barb Luttrell of Michigan and brother-in-laws, Mike Graves, Mark Graves, and Jon (Lori) Otting all of Michigan; five grandchildren, Audrey, Christian, Lydia, James, and Spring. Nieces, nephews and friends.Burial will be at the Fort Custer National Cemetery for Veterans in Battle Creek, Michigan.Arrangements pending by Cremation Society of Toledo in Ohio.
